How it works

1

Connect Granola and Affinity to Housecat

We check how your CRM is structured so we know where to save your meeting notes.

2

Select sync mode

Automatic (we sync all meeting notes automatically) or Individual (sync only the meetings you want)

3

Affinity records are updated intelligently

Whenever there are new notes Housecat adds them to the relevant records in Affinity. If needed we'll create new companies or people.

4

You get a confirmation and can edit or undo

Nothing happens without your knowledge. Review what was synced and make changes if needed.

FAQ

How does Housecat connect to Granola?

Housecat connects securely to your Granola account via MCP. Once connected, we listen for newly created meeting notes and process them automatically. We do not read your entire history unless you explicitly ask us to process past meetings.

How does Housecat match meeting notes to Affinity contacts?

We match primarily by email address, but also check against names and companies (for example if we know that meeting was with Thomas George at Housecat, but no email address was found).

Does this support custom fields in Affinity?

Yes. Housecat can map extracted data to any custom field in your Affinity workspace, including dropdowns, multi-selects, and linked records.

Can I review changes before they sync?

By default Housecat sends a confirmation for every sync, and you can edit or undo any changes before they're finalized. We can also enable full review mode where every change requires human approval before edits to Affinity are made.

Is it real-time?

Near real-time. New Granola notes are typically processed and synced within a few minutes.

Does it work with Affinity lists?

Yes. Housecat works with your Affinity lists, so you can automatically add people and organizations to the right lists based on email context.

What if a contact already exists in Affinity?

Housecat detects existing records and updates them rather than creating duplicates. It warns you if it detects a potential conflict.
